“I don’t get it.” Fiena said, confused.
“Of course you don’t, you’re just a human” Alice stated back.
The girls were having a sleepover at the Apozitives’. The purpose of that was to teach Fiena about the Other Realm facts. Mia and Zalia’s room was now filled with blankets, bag packs, and bowls of snacks, sleeping bags, books and notes.
“Let me state that clearly, again. Every creature from the Other Realm, have magical powers and each creatures are born with at least one element. As you age 3, you will gain one more element naturally.” Mia said.
“Oh…”
“But, you can have as many elements as you want if you master ALL of the Other Realm creature levels. Each time you gain one level of a creature type, you gain one element. I have two elements, but I’m currently studying Witch magic and Faerie Magic. Also, in addition, only three people managed to master all elements.” Mia explained.
“Who?”
“Maria, Serafina’s grandmother, the princess herself and …..” Alice’s voice drifted by that last part.
“Who was the last one?”
“Master Black Eye Cassius.” Enyz said.
“You’ve got to be kidding me” was Fiena’s last word before she broke into fits of hysterical laughter.
“Aye, I’m not.” Enyz replied, quite irritated.
“Ok, ok. Who is this Cassius?” she asked, pondering in curiosity.
“He once, Cassius Blaine a normal wizard, the type jocks in Earth call, ‘loser’. He fell in love with the princess at that time, Maria. In order to marry the royal, you have to prove yourself strong, and capable. So, he learned everything, he became the most hardworking and praised creature. He learned every magic known to man, including black magic.” Zalia started the story.
“But, Maria was unaware of his feelings and she fell in love with the vampire prince, Daniel. They both got married and so on..” Alice continued.
“And when Cassius learned this, he became blinded with rage and fury, he turned evil; he let the black magic overcame him, he lost one of his eyes, replaced it with the most foulest thing ever; a poisonous black pearl, he had stitches across his face and his teeth were sharper than a shark’s, than a vampire’s fangs, and even sharper than any sword to be made. In result he was a freaking cannibal. He made alliance with the badasses, foulest creatures here. But, Maria defeated them and now he is sealed in a magical mirror kept lock in the castle treasure room.” Mia finished.
“But, it’s just some sort of an urban-legend here.” Fazzy munched on a chocolate.
“Questions?” Alice asked.
“Yeah, one. How come the king and queen here looks so young? Younger than my parents.”
“It’s because, in the Other Realm, our time zone is very far different. 1 year here, is a century back Earth.”
“Hey guys, let’s go to the library for a minute.”
“Sure.”
“Which library?” asked Fiena.
“Here, my library. Yes, my house has a library. My dad and I love reading.” Mia said.
The girls were at the Apozitives library, it was huge, elegant and filled with great books, Fiena noted.
“Fiena, come over here.” Mia and the others were sitting round, on the table, a very large book was placed.
It’s covers were solid gold and the pages were somehow, crystal.
“This is the Other Realm map.”
Fiena took about half an hour to gaze the whole map and it seems the pictures were evolving, turning up, into 3-d little cities like you see in movies.
In the Center of the Other Realm, was Bloodlust City, the main Vampire Kingdom and where the main portal was located.
Now, they were in Witch West City. In the East was, Magical Creatures Village. At south, Spirit Center Downtown. And in the North was Undead City. Located at north west, was Dark woods Creatures Forrest.
The other’s were just portals.
“Fascinating” Fiena said.
“Now, we learn about the royalty here.”
“The main royalty here consists of: Vampires and Witches. The vampire and witches made alliance a long time ago. They are the most powerful creatures.” Zalia said.
“We first start with Vampires. Our Vampire Emperor is Master William Thorn. His wife is Mistress Sarah Thorn. Their son, Ciel is the next heir but he’s only fifteen this year. You can tell a vampire by the pale skin and dark hair colour.” Alice said.
Fiena took a good look of Master William. He looked like her music instructor but he had a deep scar across his face.
“King Edmund ruled the magic world for over 100 years alongside with his wife, Queen Adriana Murdoc. The rightful heir to the throne next is Princess Serafina and her husband, James. A witch’s signature is multi-coloured hair and extraordinary eye colours.”
“The other main royalties is Philip Black, the leader of the were animals pack. Our sign, we have natural hair colour , furry ears &tails!” Gwen said.
“My king and Queen is King Arthur and Queen Emily. You can signify a ghost, by it’s very pale skin, and invisibility. We can posses and walk through walls. We also have angel wings.
“My queen, yes, I have only a queen, is Queen Claudia Petal. Faeries are known for they’re childish, positive and active features.” Fazzy smiled, biting into a chocolate bar.
“My ruler, is Pharaoh Amenophis Anubis. He is the wisest and the strongest. The undead are recognized as cannibals, we leave a trail of foul smell, our body parts can reattach, but mummies are far smarter than those zombies.” Rita said.
“I have a question.”
“What?”
“How come, you? Well, you…urm.. how do I explain this???” Fiena asked.
“How come I look like normal, like them?”
“It’s because, I was a daughter of a great pharaoh once, my body was preserved, to keep them fresh and I wear a special potion that still preserves my beauty.” Rita explained.
The girls went back to Mia’s and Zalia’s room.
“Okay, this are other facts you should know. The Other Realm creatures can go to Earth to do mischief, blend along humans or just simply for a visit. They are invisible to the human eyes, however, you humans are clearly seen to our eyes.” Alice said.
“Also, human food is very much delicious and edible to us but Other Realm food are poisonous, tasteless and horrid to the human tongue.” Syaira said.
“Why?”
“I dunno. I heard a story about a normal mischievous human boy who explored the woods. He got hungry and he found a pot of fresh-made troll stew. Seeing he was hungry and the stew looked delicious he couldn’t resist it. So, he ate and he died, painfully.” Alice said.
“How painful?”
“He, choked, then ran into a sharp tree, the twigs were like little knives which poked his eyes, he was bleeding heavily he died. So, the other humans found him in such a critical state: He was laying on the ground in his pool of blood, one eye was on the twig, and the other was still in his sockets, and his puke was everywhere. Disgusting story.. And my brother told me that when I was three as a bedtime story.” Alice said.
Fiena’s face went pale.
“Well, we better go to sleep.” Alice yawned, she tucked Syaira in who was already fast asleep next to her, hugging tight her orange stuffed bunny.
“I just have one last question.”
“What is it?
“Well, this one’s for Mia. But, if you won’t wanna answer then that’s fine. I’m not pushing. And my question is: Why don’t you trust a human?” Fiena stuttered.
“It’s because, I dated a human once. He was cute, blond and all, My first love. I wanted to experiment this things. But, he lied to me. Told me he loved me and the next thing you know it, he was gone, off with another prettier lass.” Mia explained, poofing a random picture of a random blond guy: He was cute, like Mia said, and he was wearing a shirt with a turtle picture.
“Okay. Let’s hit the sack. I’m tired.” Fiena yawned, sleeping the next minute and dreaming a land full of Mr. Ludwig.
